Classic Car Overview

From a notable Camaro collector. He wanted a Camaro loaded with options that looked factory but was actually better. He told me he spent $130,000 making this car look and perform awesome. It went through a total body off the frame restoration. EXTERIOR: Fantastic! If you appreciate the factory look this has it right down to the reproduction Polyglass tires. Body and paint were obviously professionally done to high standards. Im looking down the side of it on up on the lift right now, its straight and the doors fit square. The paint is slick, I did not notice any flaws. You cant feel the nose stripe. Jambs are just as slick. Upfront it has the RS hideaway lights. They were upgraded to electric motors and whip open. Other features include front spoiler, bumper gaurds, no ugly vinyl top. The RS package also included pinstripe, trim on top the doors and the reverse lights were relocated under the bumper. Everything on this car is new. All the stainless trim, every piece of chrome, all the emblems, lenses, grill etc is new. The glass is new. Every weatherstrip and seal is replaced. At first I thought about throwing big chrome wheels on the car. No, I love the 14x7 rallys with the Goodyear GTs. Not every car has to have Torque Thrust wheels! INTERIOR: Oh man, this car is incredible inside too. Deluxe houndstooth interior looks sharp. The seats were custom made with genuine leather trim, it smells like a leather store in here. Everything is new- the door panels, window cranks, headliner, visors, cushions, carpet etc. The entire dash area is restored like brand new. The paint is glossy, the chrome trim, bezels, knobs and vents are new. Everything fits properly too. The gauges look pristine. Has factory tachometer with working clock and gauges in the console. The console is all new, updated 5 speed shift plate. Has Hurst shiffer and chrome ball. There is a good sounding retro stereo with neatly installed kick panel and rear deck speakers. An Alpine amp is hidden in the trunk. The a/c controls look stock but are updated with electronics. Seatbelts are mint, interior lights work, has floormats. Has deluxe wheel on tilt column. Its so nice in here I dont want to get out, I want to go for a ride! ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets real good: There is a 1968 Corvette L88 427 motor, rare and desirable. It has been performance built, its strong! Touch the key and it fires up with a roar, the idle is better than any music. It has a set of aluminum Bowtie heads and intake with a big dual feed Holley carb. Front of the motor has modern equipment including a new air conditioning system, new one wire alternator, modern power steering and a serpentine belt system. Has upgraded aluminum radiator with stock fan shroud. New power brake system, cadmium booster. All the wiring is new. Its all detailed out to show condition. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is painted as slick as the outside, new weatherstrip. Trunk light works. Spotless metal has a durable spatter paint finish. New thick rubber mat fits perfectly. Everything is new looking- latches, wiring, light housings. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame, entire underside was meticulously restored. The floors and metal is all spotlessly clean with a durable coat of chip gaurd. Up front the suspension is completely rebuilt, painted and detailed. has KY BP gas shocks disc brakes stainless steel hoses to the calipers Bottom of the motor has an extra capacity Milodon oil pan and mini high torque starter. Then theres a Tremec 5-speed with new clutch related parts. New U-joints and driveshaft. 12 bolt rear end. KYB gas shocks, new springs front and back. Upgraded with disc brakes at each wheel with drilled and slotted rotors. New emergency brake assembly. New brake and fuel lines, new fuel tank. Someone did a great job building a fat custom exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. I am pumped! After looking this car over top to bottom, hearing it run my heart is literally beating fast. It is awesome! Its not just a bunch of new parts, it was professionally built. The fit, finish and function is like new or better.
