1968 Chevrolet C/K Truck C10

1968 Chevy C-10 Custom , Golden Anniversary Edition. 283 cu. W/4sp. transmission., long bed.
Plus, this truck comes with an additional frame,with suspension, steering , and break upgrades.
And it also comes with a 1975 Corvette 350 c.i. fresh from the machine shop and a turbo 350 automatic trans.
The truck was sold new in Champaign, Urbana, Illinois. The truck still retains most of its original paint aside from a couple spots on the bed, sides and doors , the previous owner sandblasted the bed floor and primer, sealed it and sanded and painted all of the chips and scratches on the body panels. this also comes with new left and right rocker panels along with two new cab support panels also. The truck still retains all of its original chrome and interior. The windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced. The truck also has two dealer installed auxiliary gas tanks inside the bed panels one on the left one on the right.
The extra chassis that comes with this deal is a 1970s chassis with five lug suspension with power disc front brake brakes, the previous owner had sandblasted and primer, sealed this chassis about 12 years ago. I have recently replaced everything from the trans Cross member forward with brand new upgraded parts. Everything is new or rebuilt to new standards.
New rotors ,calipers , brake pads, brake lines, rubber, and steel lines, and hardware. Power brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and related hardware in lines all new in the box. Ball joints, control, arm, bushings, rubber, bump, stops, and an outer tie, rod ends, Pitman arm, idler arm, all new. Power steering gearbox is installed power steering pump, pulleys, hoses all new in the box.
Two complete boxes of body mount bushings, one rubber one polyurethane complete with bolts washers, and hardware ,all new.
Four new motor mounts in boxes, 4 new Goodyear Wrangler RTS tires and rims along with four new beauty trim rings and Chevy hubcaps new in boxes. New gas tank relocate under bed with mounting straps sending unit and rubber isolation mat new inbox. It also comes with new bushings for the rear trailing arms and new brake lines and hardware kit for the rear.
1975 Corvette engine 350ci.(55K miles) and turbo Hydro 350 automatic transmission that also comes with this deal. this engine had been sitting in a barn for over 25 years so I took it to the machine shop. They did a compression check and found two cylinders with low compression,
Upon further inspection, they took it apart and found the two cylinders had collapsed rings. He said the inside was so clean that all it needed was to hone out the cylinders and install new rings,with the engine apart I wasnt going to chance it to find out there was something else wrong. I just had them freshen up the whole engine.
They honed out the cylinders, hot tanked the block installed new rings, bearings, camshaft bearings, and installed new oil pump and new timing chain and gears. They also took the heads apart, hot tank the heads cleaned up the valves and seats and install new valve seals.
Once I got the long block back from the machine shop, I installed Edelbrock performer intake and a new 650 vacuum secondary with electric choke, a new performance HEI distributor, new fuel pump and new water pump. Also comes with several new pulleys, brackets and mounts for alternator and power steering pump. Also included in this deal are two additional used doors left and right complete with windows regulators and handles in one used tailgate with latch and linkage included.
