Classic Car Overview

This 1968 Chevrolet K20 4x4 has received upgrades in all the right places. So you can look at the bold paint, A/C interior, four-on-the-floor, serious suspension lift, and growling big block power. It makes for the show-ready truck that also has the right tools to still get the job done. The orange paint is a more recent upgrade that has both depth and radiance every time the sunshine finds the sheet metal. And they invested in far more than just a quality application. There is straightness to the body panels that tell you this truck was restored with care. In fact, the work was completed in 2015, and it has only been driven about 500 miles since then, so theres a freshness here that tells you it has just spent most of its time tucked away under the included car cover. The same quality can be seen on details like the new headlights, bright chrome bumpers, pliable weather-stripping, clean trim, and we especially love how the Chevrolet lettering in the tailgate is a subtly different shade of orange. But more than just look good, this is a true truck with true ability. Those awesome Fuel 18-inch wheels have seriously meaty tires, and they also show off the extra-tall 4x4 stance. And if you do feel like doing real truck duty, the color-matched liner protects the inner walls, and the long bed means youre only making one trip to Home Depot. Just like the exterior, the interior received nice investments in quality and comfort. For example, the seat has comfy velour-like inserts and cool orange stitching to match the paint. The door panels were even done to match. And the dash pad, sun visors, steering wheel grip, and carpeting all coordinate in a fresh black. This has terrific features like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth, a handsfree mic, upgraded speakers, a sliding rear window, and R134a air conditioning. The sports steering wheel and floor shifter feel good in your hands, and the full gauge package w/tach looks crisp and clean. Under the hood, the smooth and dark inner fenders and bright firewall help show off the tidy engine bay. But what will really attract attention is the big block in the middle. This 454 cubic-inch V8 has been built with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, cast bow tire valve covers, and jet-hot coated headers. The V8 fires up readily, idles nicely, and it makes a sweet rumble out of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. While the undercarriage looks just as fresh as the rest of this truck, this one was built for far more than just shows. The four-speed manual transmission has a low first so that you can get some rock-crawling torque right from the start. This trans feeds into a beefy 14-bolt rear end. Plus, you have the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, Tuff Country lift kit, and Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ off-road tires are all there to keep you going strong. More than just stout, this has nice all-around features, like power steering, hydro boost power brakes, and front discs. Complete with build receipts, this is a comprehensively restored and upgraded truck (the VIN suggests the cab was actually borrowed from a straight/clean C10.) This is the mean classic pickup that has been given nice investments in all the right places. So its time for a show-ready 4x4. Call now!
