1968 AMC Javelin

This first generation example of the AMC Javelin SST immediately catches your eye with its Gold finish and broad, black accent stripes. Inside, the seats are bolstered in a tan leather complemented by a brown dash and woodgrain accents on the door panels and steering wheel. Interior chrome trim completes the look and feel of this sporty ride.

This Fastback Coupe rides on 14 inch Magnum 500 wheels fitted with BF Goodrich Silvertown tires. The 5.6 L V8 engine produces 280 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque, sending power to the rear via a 3-speed automatic transmission. Chrome tipped dual exhaust adds another level of function and style. The vehicle also comes standard with heating and ventilation, an AM radio, and reclining seats. A spare tire and tools are included with the sale.

Over the years a few cosmetic issues have developed, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vehicle over 50 years old. Some rock chips are present on the paint, and mild wear and tear is visible on the dash and seat, and some corrosion is visible on the underside.
