Classic Car Overview

The 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 11-Window Westfalia is one of the most iconic and highly sought-after vintage campers ever made. As the final year of the first-generation T1 Split Screen (or Splittie) design, the 1967 model represents the absolute pinnacle of early Volkswagen engineering and classic counterculture styling.
The 1967 model year is uniquely famous among collectors because it bridges the gap between classic vintage aesthetics and crucial mechanical updates.
- 12-Volt Electrical System: 1967 was the first year VW introduced a factory 12-volt electrical system, replacing the weaker 6-volt systems of previous years and providing vastly better lighting and reliability.
- The One-Year-Only Elements: It features unique, single-year parts such as specific door handles, a push-button rear hatch lock, and unique cab door locks that make an authentic restoration highly prized.
- Final Split-Screen Year: In 1968, Volkswagen shifted to the second-generation Bay Window design, making 1967 the grand finale of the split-windshield era.
This Microbus came out of Arizona and was restored. It had all new paint, new window seals, canvas pop-up, original type interior, rebuilt dual port motor, new steering box and roof rack. The camping accessories are also included!
