1967 double cab pickup
custom built blueprinted 1776cc engine with dellordo 40mm carbs. all oem german cooling tin.. rebuilt custom reduction box transaxle up geared to cruise at 65-70 mph. engine and trans has less than 1500 miles. owned for 35+ years by a air cooled vw master tech.
custom built heavy duty receiver hitch with trailer plug. chassis is stock. stock ride Hight. it has air shocks in the rear. kyb in the front. king and link pins, center link and tie rod ends all tight. brakes are near new. no pull or drift. no rust. all electrical working.
the exterior body and paint was done in the mid 80's before i purchased it. it has some dings and scratches. the bed has some dents inside the gates.as the bed was not completely restored. it is super nice for 40 year old paint. i used it as a truck and towed a tent trailer for vacations. when i sold the trailer i freshened the engine and trans and used it for occasional hauling and pleasure. it drives great and is fun to drive. not a concourse show truck but a super nice daily driver with no mechanical problems
