VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

Classic Car Overview

1967 Volkswagen Beetle This 1967 VW Beetle shows 12,693 miles on the odometer and is an extremely clean, rust-free, mostly original car that has been well cared for and always garaged. The car presents very nicely, with paint and interior rated around 8/10, showing only minor rock chips and light scratches. Power comes from a 1641cc engine with the classic pea-shooter exhaust, and a stinger exhaust is also included. The car runs great, makes good power, and will cruise comfortably at 70 mph. A recent service was completed a few months ago (approximately 200 miles ago), including a new battery. Tasteful upgrades include a lowered stance, staggered Porsche wheels, tinted windows, fog lights, and added chrome accents. The roof rack shown in photos is included with the sale. Additional improvements include a new wiper motor, upgraded oil cooler with fans, new seals, and other common VW maintenance updates. Modern conveniences have been discreetly added, including a hidden Bluetooth stereo with JL subwoofer and speakers, and a Viper SmartStart GPS alarm system that allows remote monitoring and is transferable to the new owner. A very clean, reliable, and fun-to-drive classic Beetle that needs nothing and is ready to enjoy.
