Classic Car Overview
Fabulous mint original 1967 VW Beetle. This is the finest example of one of these that we know of with a high retail book of $85,100. This car is priced so you can add it to your high-end collection.
Heres the full story from the previous owner:
A guy by the name of Eli Villa bought the 67 from a girl whos Grandfather bought it new. He gave it or sold it to her. It was all original still. It had its original motor and bumpers and headlight rims etc. It had a rock chip in the center of the front window but all the glass was original. It lived in Washington for a while but then went to California and stayed in the Los Angeles county area. Eli said it didnt have any rust or patch panels and he was going to keep it. He rebuilt the motor himself as a friend had taught him to rebuild VW motors and he had done many. He had some sort of problem with the original motors oil pump so he bought a brand new genuine Volkswagen engine case and a Scatt 1600 cc motor kit. He had it balanced. He sold it to Jeff who was a 67 VW collector. Jeff sold it to Gary Beck who had it painted and new upholstery and carpet put in it. It had 57000 original miles on it when I got it in Dec of 2018. This car has the rarest of VW radios for 1967, I have only seen one other, it is a 67 AM/FM SAPHIRE RADIO. The rear bumper overriders are original, notice the slope, these can not be bought as reproductions. The white running boards were NOS and source from someone in Europe. They were what were on a white car when new in 67.
