1967 Pontiac Tempest

This is a slick 67 Tempest that has undergone a very nice custom build, done in Midnight Blue Metallic, basecoat cleartcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of build had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original in very good condition, window stainless moldings are all original in very good condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new side view mirrors, new emblems, grills, grill molding and headlight bezels, re-chromed front bumper, original rocker moldings in excellent condition, original deck lid and quarter eye brow moldings in excellent condition, original taillights in good condition, rear bumper has also been re-chromed.

Black interior, rewired with up to date wiring throughout, new dash bezel with custom Auto Meter gauges, tach with shift light, direct-fit AM/FM stereo with IPOD capability, amp and kicker, custom kick panel speakers and rear deck speakers, updated with IDIDIT tilt steering column, 3 spoke sport wheel, control screen for Fitech fuel injection, new dash pad, new headliner and visors, front and rear door panels have been replaced; as well as arm rest and bases, front and rear seats have also been reupholstered, rare GTO front bench seat with fold-down arm rest, updated with front and rear seat belts, nicely outfitted with a TCI performance shifter, new carpet and floor mats.

Under the hood we have a professionally built 428, bored and stroked to 461 ci, Butler Performance package, Eagle rotating assembly, forged internals, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, solid roller cam, roller rockers, Kauffman intake manifold, Fitech fuel injection, K&N breather, Butler Performance valve covers, full MSD ignition, serpentine pulley system, Meziere water pump, 1 wire high output alternator, chrome power steering pump, heavy duty aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, billet recovery tank, power 4 wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors, 4 piston calipers up front, front suspension has been updated with tubular upper and lower control arms, performance lowering coils, 1 1/4 front sway bar, custom set of ceramic coated Doug's long tube headers into 3 inch stainless exhaust with X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers out the back in stock location, this strong running 461 is backed up with a professionally built 400 turbo trans, 12 bolt posi rear with 390 gear, performance axels, performance springs and shocks; also has airbags, tubular control arms and frame braces, rear disc brakes, new fuel tank with in tank pump for the fuel injection.

This car rides on a set of V Star Drag wheels with Mickey Thompson SR Radials 26/6/15 up front and Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials 255/60/15 out back.
