Beautiful 1967 Pontiac Tempest Lemans Two Door Coupe (Model 237/Body Style 07). Body off restoration substantially completed. Major work performed on the engine, transmission and suspension. Interior is in great condition though some small work remains to be completed. Receipts for work performed can be provided (over $42,000 invested). This is a great running and driving vehicle, much cleaner and tighter than factory. Specific work performed is detailed below. Asking $32,000.

Previous Owner started a body off restoration including frame and underside refurbishment, body disassembled and re-painted in a champagne gold color (not original but close), not sure what interior work was performed, carpet appears new, upholstery is in great condition, dash board is functional but needs to be refurbished, radio does not work, and there is no identifiable rust. Car was re-assembled and drivable when we purchased it.
Work performed by current owners includes complete rebuild of the existing 326 CID motor in 2015 with 0.030” overbore and all rotating components balanced and all new internal components. Complete cylinder head rebuilds with new valves, seats, springs, threaded rocker arm studs, rocker arms, seals, hydraulic lifters, push rods, etc. Other additions include cast aluminum aftermarket valve covers, GTO cast iron exhaust headers, Pertronix electronic distributor, Edelbrock aluminum Performer Series two plane intake manifold, Holley 4160 600 CFM 4 BBL carburetor w/ vacuum secondaries, JEGS chrome throttle controls, Crane RV camshaft (slightly longer duration and higher lift than stock), Taylor custom spark plug wires with chrome wire looms, Holley chrome air cleaner housing with cleanable filter element, rebuilt Pontiac water pump w/ modified internal divider reducing coolant bypass increasing cooling capacity. Complete engine compartment refurbishment including engine compartment complete disassembly (all components removed) cleaned and repainted, new engine and front lighting wiring harnesses, new voltage regulator, new alternator, new drive belts, new brake master cylinder and power brake booster, new power steering pump and hoses, new steering gear box (upgraded to quick ratio 2.5 turns lock to lock from original 4+ turns lock to lock), new battery, new battery cables, Vintage-Air air conditioning system installed, new four core radiator and upper/lower hoses, radiator overflow container added. Two-speed Super Turbine 300 automatic transmission was completely rebuilt.
Suspension, tire and wheel upgrades including new front and rear coil springs, new front and rear poly-graphite suspension bushings from Performance Suspension Technology (PST), new steering linkages, new ball joints, new Bilstein gas shock absorbers, new Hotchkiss rear coil spring air lifts, new brake lines and distribution block, new Wheel Vintiques period correct chrome five spoke wheels with PMD center caps, new Hankook Taureq radial tires (60 series front/70 series rear), new front disc brakes (replaced original drum brakes), rebuilt rear drum brakes
Body upgrades including professional body panel alignment, new front parking light lenses, rear taillight housings rebuilt, halogen sealed beam headlights (high and low beam), new bumper jack and spare tire, new radio antenna and cable, new exhaust pipes and tailpipes with custom mufflers, complete clay treatment w/ Mequiar polish and wax, new wing window latches, new outside rearview mirrors, repaired and fully functional door locks, new front and rear seatbelts (front not yet replaced), and new driver’s seat frame, padding, and cotton/burlap cover (not yet installed).
