Classic Car Overview
#S MATCHING ENGINE, HOLLEY SNIPPER FUEL INJECTION, PS, PB
This 1967 Pontiac GTO is wearing a factory color Regimental Red. It has a Parchment interior which really pops up against the red exterior. Looking down both sides it is straight and appears to be all original sheet metal. The paint has a nice glossy clear coat finish. It has nice fit and finish and is straight down both sides, no rust issues. All of the chrome and trim are nice. In the front; the headlight bezels, front bumper and grill are nice and in good shape. All brightwork is in good condition. Glass is in good condition, all windows roll up and down with ease. In the back; the trim, rear bumper, moldings and taillights look new. It sits on a set of aftermarket 15x8 Rally II wheels with new trim rings and black PMD center caps wrapped in a set of red line tires 215/70/15 in the front and 225/70/15 in the rear.
The interior is in great shape, the seat upholstery and seat foam have been replaced. It has Parchment bucket seats with a factory center console and its factory Hurst Dual Gate shifter. The door panels, armrest pads, door handles, window cranks, carpet, headliner and rear package tray are in great shape. The dash and dash pad look great. It has factory GM front and rear seatbelts as well.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with its original number matching 400 ci/255 hp motor, casting number 9786133, suffix code XM. The engine has been completely rebuilt. It has factory chrome valve covers, correct 670 heads with upgraded stock Ram Air exhaust manifolds, a 4-core aluminum radiator and factory chrome pancake style air cleaner. Other features include Holley Sniper Fuel Injection, power steering and power brakes and MSD HEI electronic ignition. The firewall and under the hood are painted and have a nice satin black finish. Great for car shows and cruise-ins!
The undercarriage has very solid floors that are painted in a satin black finish NO UNDERCOATING!, all clean metal. The front suspension and steering components look to be in good shape. It has new front and rear springs. Looking up, the bottom of the motor and Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission are clean. It also has a 3:36 posi rear end. Original 2:93 Safe-T-Track rear end and re-cored Harrison radiator are available. All E-brake cables are hooked up and working. There is a Pypes dual X pipe exhaust system with Pypes stainless steel mufflers. The exhaust system runs all the way to the rear bumper of the car with Pypes chrome tips. It has a nice throaty sound.
The trunk is clean metal with a coat of spatter paint, spare tire, jack assembly, lug wrench, trunk mat and newer weather stripping.
This is a great looking GTO! Clean, very desirable color combo, runs very strong and has great eye appeal! Ready to go or show!
