Classic Car Overview
1967 Pontiac GTO $32,000
Beautiful Montreux Blue basecoat/clearcoat paint always draws compliments. This is a true GTO, not a clone or a "tribute". VIN 242177K144xxx.
Original 400 cubic inch engine. Mostly stock except larger cam (RA IV?) and later model Rochester Quadrajet. Magnaflow exhaust with crossover sounds great. Turbo 400 transmission with Hurst His/Hers console shifter. Factory Air converted to R134a. Original steel wheels with factory hub caps. Power steering. Power drum brakes. 2.93 rear axle. Stock mount aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
1967 was a year of "firsts" for the GTO. This was the first year for the 400 cubic inch engine. The first year for the Quadrajet carburetor. The first year for a collapsible steering coulumn. The first year for dual circuit brakes.
This car received a frame off restoration approximately 20 years ago. I have owned the car about 10 years, and have put about 3000 miles on it.
This car has a clear Georgia title. Georgia does not require a title on cars this old, and will not issue a title it the title chain is broken. This car was restored in Oklahoma (built in Kansas City, MO), and the owner moved to Florida. I bought the car with a Florida title.
Why pay dealer markup? Not perfect, and not $60,000. I believe a dealer would price this car at or above $40,000.
Call with any questions between 10 AM and 10 PM Eastern Standard Time.
