This car originally came to us as a really cool OLD SCHOOL build with a ton of money already spent including a new interior, a freshly rebuilt and totally Bad- Ass engine, trans and rear, all new steering and suspension and this is just a few items that were already rebuilt or replaced new, however... she is still in need of and rightly deserves a fresh coat of paint to be 100% complete! Well... shes about to get that too!! CHECK IT OUT!!
This Firebird was originally a Southern California car, with an all-original body (except hood) It is straight, solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame. As mentioned, it is in our restoration right now shop being prepped for paint! We are thinking it would look super sweet in original 1967 Firebird color called TYROL BLUE in base/clear. We will also replace most of the chrome, trim and all the weather stripping too.
The black bucket seat interior is already all new including the seats, carpets, deluxe door panels, dash pad and headliner. It also has some old school touches like a Sun Super Tach and SW (Stewart-Warner) gauges as well and an old school and really cool 3 spoke steering wheel. It is all Very-Very Nice!!
Power comes from a professionally built pump gas 428 c.i. Pontiac engine that has been bored and stroked to 467 c.i. and dynod at 518 h.p. with 578 ft lbs. of Torq. Only the best internals went into its build to make it super dependable and bullet-proof! We do have a build-sheet to show exactly what was done! She sounds absolutely incredible and runs super strong! All of this power is backed up by a new Kessler 5-speed manual transmission and a Hurst shifter with line-lock and a 9 Ford posi-traction rear built using all new MOSER internals.
Other features include all new steering & suspension as well as a new brake and fuel system including a Detroit Speed power steering gear box, power front disc brakes and a new American Auto Wire wire-harness. It also has new big tube ceramic coated Dougs headers and a new Flow Master dual exhaust system, an MSD ignition system and a big aluminum radiator too. It rests on 15 Crager Eliminator 500 wheels with new Hoosier rear street slicks and new M/T front radial tires. It also has a blue-tooth retro-sound stereo and so much more!! This build list is endless!
