From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.
The no-frills Savoy two-door sedan was home to another engine of considerable repute, the infamous 413 Max Wedge, a Super Stock monster block Chrysler introduced in the spring of 1962.

Classic Car Overview
1967 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight $24,900
Offered here is a nice and rare 1967 Oldsmobile 98 convertible. This is one of only 3,769 similar cars produced; sources indicate less than 1,000 may have survived. The ’67 is saffron yellow with a black convertible top and also has light yellow interior that was done very tastefully. This is the kind of interior that almost makes you want to buzz around with the top down in any weather! The paint and finish are in very good shape along with all the brightwork. When you slip into the driver’s seat you have facing you the original Olds steering wheel that has a nicely wood trimmed dash and color keyed vinyl dash that fits well with the rest of the interior color scheme. The Olds displays elegant lines with its power top up or down, this convertible is in extremely nice condition and has may power convenience features. Among the many luxuries on this full-size convertible are factory air conditioning, dual mirrors with driver’s side remote, radio, power seat, power windows, power steering, and power brakes. Factory wheel covers and fender skirts help complete the look.
The car is powered by a 425-cubic inch, 365 horsepower super rocket ultra-high compression V8 engine that is backed by the Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Needless to say, this rare classic drives as well as it looks. Take it for a spin on a sunny afternoon and you will be turning heads as you drive down the road.
This rare Olds won’t last long. Call or email with any questions!
