This 1967 Mercury Monterey was sold and owned in California until shortly after the events of 9-11 when it was sold to us & transported in an enclosed carrier to SD. It is a true California Black Plate Car & has been kept in our climate controlled showroom by the front row windows ever since. Taken out for periodic drives, the car is believed to be a one-owner car with actual miles with original manuals and documents.



The official Marti Auto Report for this car also shows it to be 1 of only 343 1967 Mercury Montereys ever built with this motor-transmission combination, making it a truly rare car indeed! On classic cars they figure an annual attrition rate of 10 percent, meaning there may be only 30 or less of these rare cars left in the world!
