VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

Classic Car Overview

This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 S Sedan 4 – Doors is a rare find and an excellent car for restoration as it is in remarkably good interior and exterior condition.

The car has belonged to one family and has been garaged for the vast majority of its life, including all of the last 25+ years.  All body lines are excellent, it has never been in an accident and it shows no signs of any damage.

The vehicle has the original wheels, rims, color (repainted 15+ years ago), electric sun-roof, air-conditioning, steering wheel, exterior chromes, engine, grill and bombers, all in good condition. The black upholstery was repaired (arm rest only on driver’s side re-upholstered approximately 30 years ago), radio (available, but replaced with Alpine radio with speakers installed in rear platform approximately 30 years ago).

It has been through a full mechanical inspection and was assessed as needing the following items:

R&R Cylinder Head-Replace Gaskets, Renew Oil Pan Gasket and Front Crankshaft Seals, Replace Fuel Pump, Install Water Pump Pressure Test System, Engine Tune Up With Wire Set, R&R Gas Tank, Replace FT and Rear Brake Pads, Trunk Floor Repair (rust), Replace Power Steering Hoses, Replace Radiator.

While requiring mechanical repair to get up and running, this gem would make for a beautiful touring car.
