PRICE REDUCED! 1967 M-725 Army Ambulance Manufactured by Kaiser Jeep corporation, this unique vehicle is rough and ready! The original 1 1/4 ton suspension and axles have been supplemented by a new Chevy power train- 350 CID V8 with throttle body injection and electronic ignition coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. This truck will travel at highway speeds (stay in the slow lane though!) Because the odometer hasn't worked in the 25 years I've owned this rig, I have to estimate that there are less than 10k miles on the new motor and trans. The vehicle has been rewired to operate using a 12 volt electrical system, and power steering and brakes have been added as well. These mods have made a huge improvement to the driveability of this truck, but it remains a mean, go anywhere machine. As a hunting rig it's unparalleled, and has pulled a four horse trailer to where the road ends. If you're looking for a back-country vehicle, this one is ready to take you there...but wait! If you're wanting a foundation for an eye-popping, show stopping custom, the possibilities here are limitless! The guys who know these things tell me the body is in good shape- some dents yes- we've been on some of the most infamous 4WD roads in the country together- but only surface rust and very little of that.
