If you're a fan of vintage Japanese cars, be sure to check out Nissan's online heritage site. There are tons of vintage Nissan pics and specs going all the way back to the 1920s. Each featured car or truck has relevant specs and a little "detail" tab that gives some background on that specific car.
The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

A collector’s dream!
A car Enzo Ferrari called “the most beautiful car ever made”, the Jaguar E-Type is considered by many to be one of the most gorgeous automobiles ever built. It took the automotive world by storm upon its unveiling at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show and still continues to turn heads to this day. Produced in three distinct series over the course of 14 years, the most desirable iteration has always been the first Series 1, with the ultimate evolution being those fitted with the latter, 4.2-litre straight six-cylinder engine.
While the 4.2-litre engine produced the same amount of horsepower as the earlier 3.8-litre, it did feature an increase in torque, allowing for better tractability in everyday driving. A variety of other minor changes were also introduced at the same time, including furnishing the gearbox with full synchros, a new brake booster, and adjustable seatbacks. The exterior remained unchanged, and Jaguar clearly knew it was best to leave what many consider to be its greatest design untouched.
The 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series I 4.2 Roadster featured here is finished in the rare, factory triple black color combination. It is among one of the best examples that can be found anywhere in the world; over $318,000 was invested into a concours level restoration that was just completed by renowned marque specialists in Southern California.
