Classic Car Overview
Only 866 Miles Since Completion
VIN: 7F03C233006
Asking Price: $125,000
This 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible was comprehensively restored and thoughtfully upgraded as a high-quality restomod by its current owner. Completed following an extensive six-year, rotisserie-level restoration, it has traveled only 866 miles since completion and presents as a striking blend of classic Mustang styling, modern performance, and contemporary comfort.
The Mustang is finished in Fords iconic Candy Apple Red, corresponding with paint code T, over a custom Black leather interior accented by contrasting red stitching. The presentation is bold yet tasteful, retaining the instantly recognizable character of a first-generation Mustang convertible while incorporating substantial mechanical, structural, and comfort upgrades.
Power is supplied by a professionally built 289-cubic-inch V8, stated to produce approximately 330 horsepower. It is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, providing strong performance with relaxed drivability. Additional mechanical upgrades include power steering, Wilwood power-assisted disc brakes, and a fully engineered coil-over suspension system.
The Mustang rides on 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels fitted with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 performance tires. Tire sizes are 255/45ZR17 at the rear and 225/50ZR17 at the front, giving the car a purposeful stance while maintaining balanced road manners.
Considerable attention was paid to the details throughout the build. LED accent lighting illuminates the engine compartment, passenger cabin, and trunk, highlighting the workmanship and presentation during evening shows and cruise events. The audio system was also upgraded with a Kenwood KDC-X501 receiver featuring rear USB connectivity and wireless phone-music streaming.
The restoration was appraised in 2023 at $150,000. The appraiser described the Mustang as follows:
This car received a complete 6 year restoration, no expense spared, including all coil-over suspension and performance options added to the drivetrain. The car was restored using all new parts, including all the undercarriage parts, all the exterior, all the frame rails, fender aprons, and floors. Everything mechanical on the car is new-every nut, bolt, screw, wiring, gauge, switch, hard trim, and soft trim is 100% new. Basically a brand-new car.
With fewer than 900 miles accumulated since completion, this Mustang remains exceptionally fresh and ready to be enjoyed. It is equally suited for regional and national shows, cruise nights, enthusiast gatherings, or extended road trips, with the added benefit of cruise control.
The seller has invested heavily in creating a beautifully finished and highly capable Mustang convertible and is offering the car at $125,500. Reasonable offers will be considered.
