Classic Car Overview
This 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible with the 289 V8 and 3 speed automatic is a smooth driving top down cruiser. The VIN/Warranty # is 7E57C101384 which shows it is from the Mahwah NJ assembly plant. Data plate also shows it is Wimbledon White with Dark Blue / Medium blue vinyl Interior. The odometer currently reads 47,160.
This car was my grandfather's and has been in the family since the late 80s. I know he had it repainted in the early 90s. In 2009 it was left to me and my brothers. In 2010 we did a full interior restoration with parts from Dearborn Classics. A new convertible top was installed at the same time with a glass rear window. Everything is fully operational. The car has been garage kept and while not driven too often has been maintained well over the years.
The body is good shape and did my best to take photos of any blemishes/rust/etc. Most notably the the driver side front bumper has visible rust and just around the convertible top trim is a small visible area as well. Both pictured.
From 2020 to 2021 the rear main seal was done, new power steering box and pitman arm, new front springs and sway bar links, new copper transmission lines, new oil pan, pan gasket and new valve cover gaskets. In 2022 a new clock spring was installed and wiring upgraded to get all signals and lights working right. In 2023 a new water pump was installed. A fully rebuilt Autolite carburetor was installed in Oct of 24 and most recently the brake master cylinder was replaced at the end of June 2026.
Also included with the sale is a brand new car cover and all the additional trim pieces and parts my grandfather collected from flea markets over the years as shown in pictures.
Car is located in Northern NJ and available for viewing. Happy to send any specific videos or pictures by request. Please send a message with any questions.
