1967 Ford Bronco 2-Door

This 1967 Bronco was purchased in 2014 from a couple in Mobile, AL. We spent the next 6 years performing a complete frame off & mechanical restoration using as many original parts as possible, while updating many of them to be more modern and enhance usability.
The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. We added the modern Fi-tech fuel injection with an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake including new high capacity fuel tank, fuel pump, lines and filters which make it start and run great every time.
New MDS distributor, Aluminum radiator, water pump, electric fan power by Dakota digital relay system were installed.
The original 3 speed was replaced with a rebuilt Ax-15 5-speed manual transmission. The original Dana 20 transfer case was used with twin stick shifters. Rear wheel low gear is great for slow cruising in parades! The rear end was updated to a Yukon limited slip differential in the Ford 9. All wheel bearings were replaced front and back. The front dana 30 was in good shape and reused. Mile marker mechanical hubs are now on the front.
The mechanical steering box was replaced with power steering. Front brakes were updated to disc brakes and the rear drum brakes were rebuilt.
The suspension was updated with a 2.5 lift including all new shocks & bushings. A Hellwig sway bar was installed on the front.
Rear driveshaft is original and the front is new from Tom Woods.

Work to Exterior:
The frame was completely disassembled, sandblasted and coated with POR 15.
The body was removed and many panels were replaced in order to eliminate rust. The underside of the body was coated with 3M body Shutz and the interior was coated with lizard shin temperature and sound deadener. The exterior was painted in Baffin Blue.
There are a few minor paint chips.

Work on the Interior:
The dash was reworked to include a tachometer and shift knobs for a cleaner look.
The gauge cluster was rebuilt and mileage reset to zero at the end of restoration.
A Retrosound stereo was installed with Bluetooth audio and calling.
A Tilt IDIDIT steering column was installed.
