1967 SS, 4SPD, 3:31 Posi, 12 Bolt, early 4th week production "special order" from Don Allen Chevrolet, Miami Fla (largest Chevy dealer in 1960's). Rare L79 option (10-12), rare headrest option (198), L79 Registry certificate. Owner (5th) purchased from Nova collector in 2017, car had been dissembled and stored for 15 years (took 3 years to purchase). After purchase a full 3.5 year rotisserie restoration (including rebuilding the numbers matching motor, transmission and suspension) was completed by a famous SoCal builder. Includes POP, broadcast sheet, NCRS shipping data report, documents from previous owners and clean California title. PI traced ownership back to 1974 where an American Airlines pilot owned the car for more than 20 years. Appraised in 2021, by expert classic car appraiser Jeff Hyman/Classic Auto Appraiser as mint and valued at $205,000. Only driven to local cars and coffee events.
