Classic Car Overview

This is an exceptionally nice car throughout. It looks and functions great. EXTERIOR: A professional body man inspected and bought this car for me. He and I are are impressed with the body. Its clean and straight, no rust or damage. It has an SS hood on it. The Marina Blue in gorgeous. It is smooth and has a high gloss finish. Jambs are slick, weatherstrips were replaced. All the chrome and trim is straight and shiny. The Cragars sparkle like new too. Its wearing BFG sneakers. INTERIOR: The door panels and armrests look new. The metal trim is gloss black. The dash area is in excellent shape: dash pad, vents, heater controls, chrome all look great. The seat is recushioned and reupholstered. The carpet is good and has Lloyds floor mats. Headliner, visors and mirror look new, dome light works. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Mild performance built 350 with Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb with electric choke and HEI ignition system. Sharp looking valve covers and matching breathers. Upgraded power brake system. The water pump, alternator, power steering pump, wiper motor all look clean. All the metal surfaces are painted real nicely. It was a factory air conditioned car. It still has the components on the firewall and in the car, the parts are available to make it function again. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The tailgate functions smoothly, its rust free underneath it. Inside the the bed is clean, straight metal painted smooth and glossy. UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension looks brand new and back its had new gas shocks and bushings and springs as a great sounding dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers the fuel tank and lines have been replaced The brakes were rebuilt new lines is disc conversion up front Looking up at the motor it is clean Chevy Orange the starter looks fresh new flywheel cover Its a turbo 350 automatic trans 10 bolt rear the floors are really clean dry metal under this car was prepped and painted semi-gloss black SERVICE: We serviced the car and repaired the reverse lights, gas gauge and recalibrated the speedometer. The El Camino is the opposite of a mullet: Party in front, business in the back! This is a very nice example. It will get compliments where ever it goes, which will hopefully be all over because you will like driving it. I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the cars condition in detail. These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Power disc brakes Power steering SS hood Cragar wheels Embroidered mats Pin stripe
