Classic Car Overview

INTRODUCTION: This is a very well preserved Corvette believed to have just over 60,000 actual miles. There is still a paper hand written oil change sticker in the door jamb, that would be at least 45 years old and it showed 47,000 miles at that time. #s match throughout, it features the spirited L79 motor backed by a 4-speed and a posi. This investment is going to be a blast shifting those gears and hearing the rumble of those pipes!

EXTERIOR: Heres one of the few examples where the coupe is actually worth more than the convertible. They made fewer of them, and thanks to the fantastic styling, they are highly sought after today. This one has a clean, nicely fitting body with doors that open and close properly, along with headlights that operate exactly as they should. It was repainted in its original Marlboro Maroon, with the metallic laid out evenly and polished to a high gloss finish. The chrome and trim are bright and present very nicely overall. Its further enhanced by a set of side exhausts that not only look fantastic but sound even better when youre running through the gears. It also features the optional aluminum bolt on wheels wrapped in classic goldline tires, giving it the perfect finishing touch.

INTERIOR: The interior has a very clean, unabused presentation. The seats have good cushion with nicely fitted upholstery, and the door panels and dash pads both look excellent. The instruments are clean and functional, including the clock. It has well fitted carpet from front to back, while the headliner and visors are in great shape overhead. The center console is very nice as well and features the correct reverse lockout shifter. When you sit behind the wheel for the first time and look around you will like what you see!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This one has its original #s matching legendary L79 motor which is a 327 making 350 horsepower thanks to the high revving cam, bigger valves, higher compression pistons, aluminum intake, Holley carb with an open element air cleaner. Its identified by the iconic Corvette script aluminum valve covers and features the correct ignition shielding, and stock exhaust manifolds. It even has the correct deep groove pulleys designed to keep the belts from flying off this high-revving motor. Two especially desirable options are the power steering and power brakes, making this Corvette a real pleasure to drive. The cooling system is proper as well, including the dated radiator and expansion tank, reproduction hoses and clamps and correct clutch fan. The battery even has the correct spring clamp cables. The power steering unit and rag joint were replaced, and overall the entire engine compartment is presented exceptionally well.

UNDERSIDE: It presents itself exceptionally well. It features fully independent suspension front and rear, and just by looking at it, you can tell it has been thoroughly gone through with many fresh components. It also has disc brakes at all four wheels and the e-brake is hooked up properly. Looking up at the motor, its clean Chevy orange with the correct canister style oil filter and proper starter in place. It retains its original VIN # matching Muncie 4-speed transmission along with the original date coded 3.55 posi rear end. The fiberglass floors look spotless with just a light dusting of black paint, and it still has the fiberglass spare tire carrier in place. The frame and chassis components have been prepped and painted gloss black, making for a very functional, clean, and well presented underside.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: This is a Corvette the collectors seek out being a low mileage unmolested car with matching #s. Its also the type of car enthusiasts are after due to its legendary Corvette status, good looks and thrilling driving experience- so Win-Win!
