Comes with original build sheet and all service records back to 1982. Only 4k miles on the restoration! Sweet driver! 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Background: With a slightly redesigned exterior with fives fender louvers, updated stinger hood for big block-optioned cars as well new Tri-Power carburetion for 427ci V8s, and new rocker moldings, many enthusiasts find the 1967 model year Corvette to be the ultimate of any Corvette collection! The optional knock-off aluminum wheels were modified to be a bolt on design with a center cap to hide the lug nuts for added safety, along with the absence of hubcaps in leau of rally wheels instead. Inside, the parking park was moved to the center console between the seats, the dash grab bar for passengers removed, along with other minor revisions. It was meant to be a full redesign year, but the C3 wasnt quite ready accordingly to Duntovs liking, so this year ended up being a rather limited production run! Today, they are arguably the most beautiful classic Corvette ever built and highly coveted for American Sports Car collectors! 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Info: We are very pleased to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible fitted with its factory, numbers matching 327ci V8 making 300 horsepower and Powerglide automatic transmission! Additional features and options factory Four Seasons air conditioning, vacuum power disc brakes, power steering, upgraded bolt-on aluminum wheels wrapped in Coker Classic Redline tires measuring 205/75R15, side exit exhaust, AM/FM pushbutton radio, and power windows! This unique February 1967 example is factory coded as a 972- Ermine White exterior with 414- Bright Blue vinyl interior and new white convertible top making for a unique color combination! Fitted with a host of original equipment that includes correct block, heads, exhaust manifolds, chrome ignition shielding,original transmission, rear axle, all original LOF window glass, and more! It was later dressed up under the hood with aluminum Winters/GM intake manifold, finned valve covers, more efficient Holley carburetor with electric choke, and open element air cleaner. This beautiful Corvette Convertible was restored while residing in Climax, MI in October 1982 which included a complete repaint to a bare fiberglass body and full engine and transmission overhaul. The mechanical work was carried out by Roberts Service Center in Kalamazoo, MI starting with cleaning & degreasing the engine, magnaflux tested the block, main caps, & rods, followed by a bore & hone of the cylinder walls, and line hone of the block head surfaces. Fitted with new brass freeze plugs, oil plugs, new main bearings, rod bearings, camshaft & cam bearings, new .030 pistons & rings, head pins, reconditioned rods, new lifters, grind crank .010-.010 & polished, complete valve job, new oil pump, timing chain, along with all ignition equipment, hoses & clamps, belts, etc. The odometer was reset to zero upon completion and today shows only 4,050 miles. The chrome bumpers were re-plated by Midwest Bumper Co, and the interior upholstery provided by Al Knock and installed by Cochrans Vinyl Service. It made its way to Florida soon afterward spending time on the road there since 1994. More recently in 2008/2009, the air conditioning was serviced with new compressor, radiator upgraded to a Griffin 2-row high efficiency aluminum unit, 7-blade clutch fan installed, steering gear box resealed, rebuilt power steering pump, rebuilt transmission with new torque convertor, new lower control arm bushings, front coil springs, and hidden MSD electronic ignition system. It makes no excuses once out on the road, providing outstanding power, smooth gear shifts, super confident brakes, and positive road feel that is easy to steer with just a single finger on the steering wheel! It will come with service records dating back to 1982 and factory build sheet. Act quickly astute Corvette buyers! They simply dont come this array of rare factory options!
