Classic Car Overview
1967 Chevrolet Chevelle - Pro Touring Custom The Chevelle name was first introduced in 1964 and fit in perfectly with the arrival of the muscle car era. They had 3 generations with varying looks and proved to be a very popular nameplate for Chevrolet. Even cars in the same generation saw multiple changes each year with the coke bottle body design being put out in 1966. They are very popular in the car collecting world but this car takes it to a whole other level. This 1967 Chevelle belongs to the 1st gen and has been beautifully modified and transformed into a very clean pro touring custom. It was professionally built from top to bottom by one of the best fabricator/builders in the business. No corners were cut anywhere and a very close attention was paid to detail. The body on it is laser straight and painted in a beautiful gloss Black paint. Black is a tough color to get right but you will note in our pictures the car is nearly impossible to photograph without seeing your reflection. This is then accented by thin Red pinstripes running the lengths of each side. This is then paired with a Black vinyl top that is in great condition. The glass is tinted throughout with zero issues. The chrome grill, chrome bumpers, emblems and stainless trim have a mirror like shine. The car looks tough even sitting still and has an excellent stance sitting on custom Ridler wheels with Nitto tires. The rears are 18 inch and fronts 17 inch giving it the perfect subtle rake. Open up the 2 inch cowl hood with chrome hinges and you will find this muscle car isnt lacking in the muscle department. It is powered by a brand new Blueprint 540 ci tall deck big block Chevy motor that boasts 707 HP. There is no doubting that spec when you hear it roar to life through the Dougs headers with 3 inch Magnaflows and an X pipe. The motor is finished out with a Eddie Motorsports serpentine belt system, polished aluminum pulleys, MSD distributor, Blacked out custom aluminum Supersport valve covers, a Black Holley air cleaner and lots of other chrome components. It is kept running cool thanks to the Cold Caser aluminum radiator with dual spal electric fans, polished overflow tank and polished hard line radiator hoses. The transmission is a custom built high performance 700R4 with stall converter and it also has an external auto trans cooler with a remote auxiliary thermostatically controlled fan. Power from there is then sent to the Quick Performance 9 inch Ford rear end with 3:42 gears and a track lock posi unit. The brakes are a CPP 4 wheel drilled/slotted disk brake system with a fully chromed out power brake booster. They didnt leave out power steering either because it has a new power steering box, power steering cooler and of course a chrome power steering pump. The suspension on it was entirely gone through and both front and rear are a Global West unit. Electrical is of no concern because it was completely redone with a full Painless wiring harness.
