Classic Car Overview

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible For consignment, a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible showing 61,758 miles, but the true miles are unknown. Of all the engine configurations for 67, this one represents what would have been second to the top dog, here a 325 horsepower 396ci V8. Exterior Our Norwood born beauty wears a coat of Ermine White which is a great color to make everything thats not white quite dramatic. Here we have a black nose stripe and black painted rear fascia and not to be outdone is the black canvas soft top. A cowled hood, front air dam, and rear spoiler provide bookend sportiness while the 15-inch Chevrolet Rally wheels with white lettered tires are the perfect touch for this legendary pony car. Weve got some SS emblems on the car on all sides and 396 on the front fenders, briefly interrupting the nose stripe, and on the grille tucked under the SS. Paint and panel gaps are in fantastic shape and the only exterior imperfection we note is some haziness to the plastic rear window. Interior Our standard Camaro black vinyl door panels serve as the gateway to the updated TMI vinyl and suede black buckets up front, now flanking a center console piece with storage, cupholder, and a place for your right elbow. The rear seats were privy to an upgrade to with the same color and pattern of the fronts. Ahead of us, a wood rimmed GT steering wheel fronts a standard instrument cluster, basic with a speedometer and fuel gauge. The center stack houses vent levers and an AM/FM/Cassette player over the transmission hump that houses a Hurst shifter with black ball handle. Black loop carpet coverage shows some fading in spots and the trunk is barren and uncovered. Drivetrain Big ol orange valve covers top the 396ci V8 under the hood and it wears a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and headers. Its an uncomplicated engine bay and clean, all tied to a Muncie M20 4-speed manual that routes power to the 10 bolt rear axle. Undercarriage Generally clean underneath, visually dominated by the massive Pypes exhaust system, including mufflers, which send the tailpipes to the sides behind the rear wheels. We note some fluid on the rear differential, some rust on an inner fender panel, and some welding and encapsulation near a frame junction. Power brakes are onboard as front disc and rear drum and suspension consists of coil springs up front and leaf springs out back. Drive-Ability Well leave the top up for the drive, but the comfortable seats are just begging for long, open air drives in this white chariot. The 396 comes alive with a raucous exhaust note, prompting an intoxicating and addictive use of the throttle. On the loop, she tracks straight, handles well, and exhibits all kinds of power. The icing on this vanilla cake is that all functions on board operate just as they should! While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Just a straightforward vintage pony car thats clean, not over restored, and driveable. This is one you can have fun with on weekends and even drive it to work when the weather and want is there. Just be sure to map out the top tier gas stations in your area before venturing out, the 396 is probably more thirsty than your hybrid Camry, but has about ten times the fun and good looks! 123677N116961 1-Chevrolet 23-Camaro 6 Cylinder 67-Convertible 7-1967 N-Norwood, OH Assy Plant 116981-Sequential Unit Number TRIM TAG 10B-2nd Week October G-Gold Interior Color ST 67 12467-1967 Camaro Convertible BODY NOR17216-Norwood Body # TR 709Z-Gold Standard Buckets PAINT G2-Granada Gold, Black Top 2G-Center Console 3K-Z21 Style Trim Group Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (thats more than 8 acres!).
