Classic Car Overview

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Hardtop For consignment, a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro hardtop showing 81,509 miles, but the true miles are unknown. We would call this barn find condition except this one turns over, so were leaning towards diamond in the rough . Its going to need a bit of everything, but this one provides the option of creating the 67 of your dreams. Exterior Purists might want to replace the Granada Gold this car is barely hanging onto now, but remember, this car could be the eventual color of your choice! As it stands now, its faded, showing areas of surface rust, and many areas of rust through or panel repair. A faint black nose stripe is visible along with both remnant and complete call out emblems. You can count on the brightwork needing to be freshened and a healthy dent on the front fender will need to be addressed. Its currently wearing 14-inch Oldsmobile Super Stock II wheels and the skys the limit in terms of aftermarket or Chevy Rally wheels available during your restoration efforts. The rocker panels in particular are well rusted along with the fenders so youll have some work to do to breathe life back into her. Interior The drivers door panel is weathered and torn in place while the passenger side is a keeper right up to the point of the lower tears and the same could be said about the seats, the drivers is toast and the passengers might be salvageable, but a full redo will do this car justice, including the rear bench which is in place but will need to be recovered to match the front. Some patina exists on the steering wheel which fronts a simple dash with dual gauges and symmetrical circles to the sides that include knobs and the ignition port. The center stack includes the vent levers and a Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette radio above the center console and T-handle shifter, in decent condition. Theres no way to sugar coat it, the carpet is toast and the headliner is torn in places, surrounding a dome light without a lens. A barren trunk shows some surface rust but is intact. Drivetrain Under the hood, driver quality conditions were expected and found, along with a 250ci inline six cylinder from 1968, rated at 155 horsepower and fueled by a 1-barrel carburetor. Its mated to a TH350 3-speed automatic that routes power to the 10 bolt rear with 3.08 gears. Undercarriage Driver quality here as well with surface rust, and more invasive stuff on inner rocker panels and on parts of the frame. The central section of the belly is in good condition with a single exhaust that moves through a stock style muffler before ending behind the rear fender. Four wheel drum brakes are supplied and suspension includes coil springs up front and leaf springs in back. Drive-Ability The car started and runs a bit rough, but runs! The shifter does not engage the sector shaft, but we were able to move the trans into gear from underneath. During our drive we noted some slight stumbling from the engine and during the functionality test, we note the radio does not work and the high beam switch is stuck. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Restorable examples of classic cars are getting harder to find each year. Heres a 67 with some potential and hints of greatness can be seen in its shape and remnant gold paint. If youre like an ant with a rubber tree plant, bring your high hopes and big dreams to this project and revive this American legend. 123377N231002 1-Chevrolet 23-Camaro 6 Cylinder 37-2 Door Hardtop Sport Coupe 7-1967 N-Norwood, OH Assy Plant 231002-Sequential Unit Number TRIM TAG 06A-1st Week June ST 67 12437-1967 Camaro 2 Door Hardtop Sport Coupe BODY NOR131247-Norwood Body # TR 760Z-Black Standard Vinyl Buckets PNT GG-Granada Gold 2M-Powerglide Automatic G-Center Console 3S-Z23 Interior Decor Group K-Z21 Style Trim Group Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (thats more than 8 acres!).
