Classic Car Overview
FOR SALE: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Fresh Restoration, Nearly Complete, 3RD owner!
Price: $25,000 Located in the Napa Valley
1967 Chevrolet Camaro with a 350 CI engine and a Turbo 400 transmission. I've owned this car since 1995 and have put decades of care into it. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a nearly finished projectmost of the hard and expensive work has already been done.
History and Restoration
The car has a clean title and was previously registered in Arizona. I cant find the odometer so the mileage is a guess. There are zero miles however on the rebuilt motor transmission and rear end. It is missing th driveshaft.
Body and Frame
The car underwent a complete body and frame using sandblast process stripping all rust, paint, and contaminants down to bare metal. This ensures a clean foundation and prevents future corrosion. The vehicle was stripped at American Canyon Stripping in American Canyon.
New metal installed where needed, including:
o Both quarter panels
o Door skins
o Front fenders
o Hood (all high-quality reproduction parts)
Mechanical Work
Engine Fully rebuilt 350 CI, with headers, professionally rebuilt by Badass Engines in Sonoma California. I have receipt. Not a numbers matching engine but, is from 1967
Transmission Rebuilt Turbo 400, professionally rebuilt with receipt
Rear Axle Rebuilt with 3.73 gears and an open differential, original to car so I didn't want to change it, have receipt
Paint and Finish
Fresh, high-quality paint with sealer, color is a little off. Bolero Red applied by Maaco Paint in Fairfield Ca.
All glass replaced with new aftermarket glass (one window still needs installation)
Whats Left to Finish
The car is painted and ready for final reassembly. All the heavy lifting is donethis is a great chance to complete a classic muscle car of your dreams with minimal effort.Additional parts needed, driveshaft, complete interior. I have almost everything else.
Why It's a Great Deal
With a solid body, fresh drivetrain, and new paint, this Camaro is an ideal project for a muscle car enthusiast. The chemical stripping alone adds significant value and longevity to the car's structure. This car was made in the Los Angeles/ Van Nuys plant in California in ----- of 1966. It is the ----- car in the sequence of 1967 and is ---- of ----- made that year. It has spent its entire life in dry climates of the western United States. This is an excellent forever car and just needs about 100 hours of completion to be back on the road.
Disclaimer
Serious inquiries only, please. I like the fact that we share a love for this car, however; I dont have the time to reminisce over days gone by. If I did, I would probably finish the car. Text me your low-ball offer so I can ignore it. Sorry, too many scammers out there so I wont be able to send more pictures, copy of the title or the vin for car fax, we all know they dont go back that far. This Camaro molded my structure as a young man, and I know it is solid. I stand behind the car 100%.
If you are serious about owning "the original muscle car", contact me for further discussion. If your serious, be prepared to have an appraiser check out the car, that is how the professionals do it. I can help out with the arrangements. The car has been stored in a dry trailer for about the last year and is out of the elements. No, the trailer is not included. Again, serious enquiries only. I also have a shop nearby that may be interested in completing it for a fee. Completed, the value of the car would be about 50-60k. Thank you for taking to time to read this far.
