With all the hoopla surrounding the new Camaro 1LE, let's look back at the original.
The story of the ZL1 Camaro, fitted with that rarest of the rare, all-aluminum 427 big-block V-8, is one that has often been told: How only 69 were made, how they exploited the GM option-ordering system, and how they’ve become the Camaro guy’s ultimate Camaro.

Classic Car Overview
1967 Chevrolet Camaro $42,990
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS 2 Door Coupe (Stock # B11391) is available in our Benicia, CA showroom and any inquiries may be directed to us at 707-748-4000 or via email at Sales@SpecialtySales.com(mailto:Sales@SpecialtySales.com).
Breathtaking 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS 2 Door Coupe with red and white exterior paint and a black vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory, numbers-matching 350 cid V-8 engine under the hood and matching 4-speed manual transmission, and this ultra-desirable muscle car is in exceptional original shape both inside and out. We also have a very complete history of this iconic classic, so you’re not likely to find a more stellar original example anywhere on the open market at this time. It has a mere 76,000 miles showing on the odometer.
Completely Numbers-Matching w/ 76k Lifetime Miles
The current owner of this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Coupe informs us that it has been enjoyed by four lifetime owners. He purchased it from a good friend in 2015 and was informed that this beautiful muscle car was repainted around the early 90's and that the factory engine was professionally rebuilt in 2003 by reputable Chris Zootis in Healdsburg, California. We’ve been informed that the engine, transmission and rear end are all numbers-matching to this classic, plus it appears that it has the complete factory interior, most of the factory trim and many of the original accessories still in place. Feel free to contact us for additional details on the various documentation we have on file.
Additionally, this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Coupe has only been driven approximately 4,000 miles since the engine was rebuilt 15 years ago, so it performs much like a new classic and sounds even better. The exterior paint and body show very nicely in the sunlight with only the slightest of imperfections, and you can see from the photographs how well the interior has been maintained throughout this one’s life. Words simply cannot describe how clean and impressive this one is overall in person- you must come see it for yourself to truly understand the overall quality.
Outstanding Overall Condition Throughout
Overall, this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Coupe is one of the most original, beautifully cared for classic muscle cars that we’ve seen in quite some time. The asking price is likely too conservative for such a sought-after model so do not expect this amazing beauty to remain here for long. You need to come see it for yourself today. For more information about this vehicle, visit our Benicia, California showroom, give us a call at 707-748-4000, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com(mailto:Sales@SpecialtySales.com). Be sure to mention Stock # B11391 as well.
Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
The information for this vehicle was provided by the current owner and it is not certified by Specialty Sales Classics. Therefore, it is in no way guaranteed as a basis of purchase. Any statements such as original or numbers-matching should be verified independently by the buyer prior to purchase.
