From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Savoy Faire is Everywhere

The no-frills Savoy two-door sedan was home to another engine of considerable repute, the infamous 413 Max Wedge, a Super Stock monster block Chrysler introduced in the spring of 1962.

Classic Car Overview

1967 Buick Riviera. This was a car that I was restoring with my father before he passed. I did change the motor. It originally had a 430 engine, but we had a 455 that was completely rebuilt at Team C, and that is what is in there now. The front grille and headlights were removed when putting the engine in (Yes, I have them; just needs to be put back on). So, the new motor has no miles on it since the rebuilt--which was over 10 years ago and it has just been sitting. The interior is in good shape. All black interior and chrome. Only needs to be cleaned. The car is not running right now. It would need to have wires, cables, etc all connected.

This car has always been in California. I recently moved out of state and was going to bring it out to finish restoring and enjoy, but I will not have time due to work. So rather than have it sit in my garage for 3 more years, I've decided to sell it and buy another classic hobby car when I have time to enjoy it. I have the car parked at my cousin's in Long Beach, Ca. He will be showing it for me. Have the title.

I am aware of what the 1967 Rivieras sell for, so no lowball or silly offers please. This would be an excellent car for someone that wants a rare classic and has the desire to do some cleanup and restore work to it. There are tons of classic Chevys and fords out there, but Buick Riviera--especially the 1967 are rare. Do a search and see how many are out there. But if you are reading this, you probably already know that. Feel free to call or text me with any questions. Thanks for viewing. (562) 500-7250
