1966 Triumph TR4A IRS convertible in vibrant Signal red, with a sleek black interior, black top, and top boot. This one comes equipped with a four-speed transmission and rolls on classic 60 spoke painted wire wheels, complete with a chrome luggage rack.
If youre on the hunt for a TR4A, this could be a fantastic option that wont break the bank. Its what we call a very nice driver. From a few feet away, it looks great, with some minor knickknacks and cosmetic blemishes, but nothing major.
Gaps are on point, the paints got a good glossy shine, and the chromes pretty tidy. There are some small chips here and there, however its nothing you cant touch up easily. The front bumper and grill are sharp and the rear bumper looks pretty fabulous too.
The interior has newer seat kits fitted, and they look nice. Door panels appear to be original, as well as traditional arm bars. The dash is decent, might need a bit of a spruce-up, but nothing major.
The trunk reveals an original tonneau cover, and with a little TLC, itll shine like new. The twin exhaust system adds a nice touch in proper TR4A style.
Under the bonnet, youll find a clean engine compartment with the classic Signal red paint that looks like its been recently spruced up. This TR4A comes with the most tweaked-out engine in the four-cylinder series, so its no slouch on the road.
All in all, this 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS convertible is a real gem at a great price. Its a glossy head-turner, ready for some joyful cruising. If you want to experience classic British motoring without breaking the bank, this is a great option.
