For sale today is a 1966 Shelby Cobra built in 2015 and this is the custom stretch K version that has 8 inches length added in the interior for those taller drivers. Displaying the racing spirit that Carol Shelby created and then perfected, if not alone to be the only car in the era that could beat Team Ferrari, this 1966 Shelby Cobra Street Beast represents American muscle in its most visceral form. The beautifully crafted body lines flow with sweet precision, creating an unmistakable silhouette that automotive enthusiasts worldwide recognize instantly. Finished in a hot red complemented by Wimbledon white stripes, accented by ford blue pinstripe outlines, nothing was spared when it comes to this beasts paint job. This Cobra sits on its 16" wheels wrapped in P215/65R16 tires. Roll bars were not yet installed to leave this sweet ride with a little room for customizing just as you wish.

The 302 V8 engine sports an Edelbrock Performer manifold that maximizes airflow and performance, that is topped off with a matching Edelbrock 500CFM racing carburetor, all cleanly accented with fully aluminum Shelby Cobra valve covers. This power plant sends her power through a sexy B&M Auto Star Dual-action Detent/Ratchet Shifter which is attached to a beefy Ford C-6 transmission. Putting such a combination of proven parts together offers both an exhilarating driving experience and complementary, clean, uncluttered design, a configuration that made the original Cobra one of the most replicated cars in history. To keep temperatures in check during aggressive driving we installed a cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans that can be turned on and off from the drivers cockpit. Dual straight-pipe side exhaust with long tube headers produces a soundtrack worthy of the Cobra name.

Everything is Mechanically sound and strong. The mod I did to the car was to replace a holly 650 carb, which i thought was too much, with an edelbrock 500 racing series.

Paint, wheels, tires, all near new. The car has been garaged since it was built. Originally built in Texas, I am her 2nd owner.

The interior is all like new. I also have the original low back seats, with rails, and foam, and everything so you may install them if you like. the will be placed in trunk.
