Classic Car Overview

Celebrating our 65 year anniversary! This family owned and operated business was established in 1960, making us the oldest classic car dealership in America. Special thank you to all our customers for entrusting us to park the car of your dreams in your driveway while preserving automotive history for future generations to embrace and enjoy. -Grams family & Volo Museum staff This real GTO has been frame off restored to its original vintage charm along with modern upgrades making it the ultimate driver! An overdrive automatic, modern brake system, modern air conditioning, wider radial tires and seatbelts take this Goat from 1966 to the 21st century. EXTERIOR: The body is clean, straight and fits nice. Repainted Montero red, its polished smooth and glossy. The chrome is shiny and straight. The power convertible top is a bright white. The weatherstrips and windshield were replaced. Rally 1 wheels are 15x8 with BFG radial redline tires wrapped around them. This is a good looker! INTERIOR: The bright white not only looks cool, it also feels cooler in the sun. Down on the floor it has fresh carpet, reproduction mats, seat belts front and back. The bright white upholstery was hand stitched in a softer vinyl. The seats, door panels, seat backs, armrests, visors and even the top boot were all custom upholstered. The seat cushions were replaced too. In between the seats is a factory console with an upgraded Lokar shifter attached to the overdrive automatic. In front of you is a clean dash area with a quartz clock, new dash pad and deluxe wheel. The a/c vents are neatly installed under the dash. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This 389 has the nostalgic tri-power carb setup along with the 093 big valve heads. Its dressed up in some new chrome valve covers. It has some very desirable upgrades including a modern heat and air conditioning system and a modern power brake system with a dual reservoir master cylinder. It also has power steering. The cooling system has also been upgraded with an aluminum radiator, overflow bottle and an electric fan. Several components were replaced: alternator, wiper motor, a/c dryer, hood latch etc. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb were painted red and the weatherstrip was replaced. Inside appears to be solid metal with a nice spatter finish and a new two piece reproduction mat. The wiring harness looks new. It is complete with a jack and spare assembly. UNDERSIDE: This was body off the frame restored about 15 years ago. The front end looks like it had been completely rebuilt: the bushings, ball joints, steering etc. The rear suspension had also been gone through, the shocks look brand new. The entire brake system was replaced: all the lines, e-brake cables and its upgraded to disc at all four wheels. The fuel system was completely replaced including the tank. It has a nice dual exhaust system with stainless steel mufflers and the optional flared tips. Looking up at the motor it is very clean, starter looks fresh. Theyve upgraded the trans to a 200R4 overdrive automatic and the rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a 10 bolt rear end. The floors look to be very dry, clean metal. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason. What fun! Top down, cruising down the road turning heads and when you mash the pedal not only will you hear the 3 carbs open but youll feel it too! For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide is my professional opinion based on my experience with these vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase the car and share our teams insights. Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be refunded, and youll receive a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Tri-power carbs Air conditioning Power steering Power brakes 4 wheel disc Deluxe wheel Quartz clock Reproduction mats Console Seatbelts Power top Exhaust tips Rally I wheels BFG redline tires
