This 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible is finished in Ivy Yellow with a power-operated black convertible top over black leather and is powered by a 462ci V8 linked with a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Equipment includes power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 15 steel wheels with polished covers as well as a power-adjustable front bench seat, an AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. The car was awarded the Founders Trophy at the 2011 Western National Meet of the Lincoln and Continental Owners Club.
The car left the factory finished in Ivy Yellow and has been fitted with a replacement black soft top. The convertible top is power-operated, and exterior details include a Lincoln hood ornament, quad headlights, dual side mirrors, a retractable antenna, and chrome bumpers and trim.
The 15 steel wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with 235/75 Hercules Ironman white-stripe tires. Power steering was standard, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin houses bench seating upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a power-adjustable front bench seat, an AM/FM radio, and air conditioning along with power windows and door locks.
The two-spoke tilting steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles
The 462ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 340 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque.
