I was super impressed when I bought it and Im even more impressed now looking at it a second time. The fit, finish and functions inside and out are amazing. Its very nicely optioned too. Someones going to get a great car with nothing to do but enjoy it! EXTERIOR: It was a California built car and its a safe assumption it lived out there because the body is so clean. Every inch of it is laser straight, all the panels line up square and flush, you can close the doors with your pinky. The candy apple red paint is polished like glass, it is very glossy. The sparkling chrome and trim really puts it over the top, it looks like it was all replaced including the vent window frames, correct antenna, bumpers, emblems etc. It has deluxe mirrors and the drivers side is remote. It also features GT fog lamps in the grill and beautiful GT wheels wearing Hancook tires. Its a black convertible power top in excellent condition. The weatherstrips and windshield were replaced. It presents like new, maybe better! INTERIOR: It is really tidy, proper and functional inside. It has a complete deluxe pony interior which includes molded door panels, knife handle door openers, deluxe upholstery with ponies running on the seats, wood grain trim and a deluxe steering wheel. It all looks fresh from the cushions in the seats to the window cranks. It has fresh looking carpet on the floor with reproduction pony floormats. It has original Ford seatbelts front and back. The dash pad and instrument bezels have been replaced. It has the rally pack sitting on the steering column that includes a tachometer and a clock that has been upgraded with quartz movement. The original AM radio also has an FM converter in the glovebox where you will also find the owners manual. Everything works including the interior lights, gauges and radio. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very nicely detailed motor compartment! Its original 289 V8 runs smoothly and was rebuilt by previous owner that restored the car. It is stock including its data tag, manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. It even has reproduction spark plug wires! The power steering pump is new, the washer fluid bag and electric washers all hooked up, horns work etc. it has a correct radiator, shroud, reproduction cap, hoses and clamps. It also has an Autolite reproduction battery. All the metal surfaces are very clean and painted very nicely including the gloss red under the hood. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick like the car, even inside is all clean metal painted gloss red. It has reproduction weatherstrip, decal, jacking instructions, well liner, trunk mat and matching tire cover. Under the tire cover is a restored spare with the jack assembly. It is very clean and complete! UNDERSIDE: It appears to have its clean and dry California metal floors, frame rails and torque boxes. They all appear to be solid and neatly painted satin black. The steering and suspension also appears to have been rebuilt along with the brake system. Its been inspected by our shop and passed with flying colors. It has the proper GT dual exhaust with crossover pipe, mufflers, resonators and the stainless tips going out through the valance. The fuel tank and sending unit was replaced at the time of restoration. Looking up at the motor it is clean and has a correct fuel pump and starter. The C4 automatic is also clean and working properly. The rear end has 2.80 cruising gears. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell. CONCLUSION: When I tell you this one is exceptional I mean you can go look at as many as you want and Im confident this will be one of the very best. In all regards its impressive, not to mention it is beautiful and optioned out very nicely! Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting.
