This 1966 Ford Mustang was acquired by the seller 20 years ago. The car had modified dual exhausts below the rear bumper. Subsequent cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment was completed in 2017. This Mustang convertible is offered with two sets of keys, a car cover, manufacturers literature, service records dating back to 2005, and a clean California title in the sellers name.
The car was reportedly refinished in Mercedes Red (paint color code SQ KIA), and features a power-operated black soft top with a vinyl rear window, a left-side mirror, and chrome-finished bumpers, rocker panels, and trim. A resto-modification Mustang GT rear end and bumper was added in 2007. The interior features seating surfaces upholstered in black vinyl (66) with rosette pattern and matching door panels and carpeting. and an AM/FM / cassette tape player.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and now shows 206,789 miles. Approximately 5,000 miles miles were added by the seller.
