We get a lot of early Mustangs here at Carroll Street Classics, so it takes a special example to really impress us. This 1966 Mustang coupe impresses us. A stunning example thats been given a restomod treatment, this one must be seen and driven to be believed.



The body on this coupe is arrow straight and very solid, as is the underside. The Mustang wears beautiful Candy Apple Red paint and although not originally equipped with the GT package, its been upgraded with many components of that package such as the grille-mounted fog lights, through-the-valance dual exhaust, GT gas cap and of course GT badges. A set of factory correct, styled steel wheels fitted with Kelly Charger radial tires finish off the Mustangs massive curb appeal.



Inside, the Mustang features the optional Pony interior with its embossed seats and upgraded door panels, the center console, and the deluxe wood-tone steering wheel, all of which add to the sporty vibe of this V8-powered Mustang coupe.



That V8 is the sprightly 289 fitted with a 4-barrel carburetor, headers and dual exhaust, so this Mustang sounds great and gets up and goes when you give it the spurs.
