Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.

1982 Mustang GT

Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.

Classic Car Overview

Arguably one of the prettiest color combinations on an early 1966 Mustang Convertible. Night Mist Blue with a White top and a very rare blue bench seat option. Only 3190 convertibles were made in 1966 with the 76C bench seat option. That puts it at one of the rarest options for the convertible with less than 5% percent of production, 0.044% to be exact. When combined with the rest of the options, only a handful of this option group were made; making this a unique and rare example. This is a 289 2V C code, with automatic, power steering, power top and steel styled wheels. Car was recently upgraded to Pertronix II ignition and front disk brakes for reliability and safety. This is a low mileage car with a little over 72000 original miles. All body panels and gap fitment are excellent.  Previous owner had the car over 30 years and is in beautiful condition. This is a rust free car, appears to have all original sheet metal and was very well cared for. The car is very original and in great condition, with some original chalk marks still visible, even has the original date coded windshield. Freshened up the interior with new carpet and is ready to hit the road. All the bright work is in very good condition. Car runs and drives very nice and should give years of pleasure. Finding an original quality rust free car of this era is extremely hard to find, especially in a convertible. If you are looking for an early mustang convertible you will not find many as nice as this one or as original. This car will not last long, so don’t wait on this rare opportunity to get a very nice early convertible.
