1966 Ford Mustang Coupe

Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.
Classic Car Overview
1966 Coupe with 434W by Duane Busch, TH400 by CK performance, and 12 bolt 9” drop out by Strange.
The engine Is a Dart sportsman block, Eagle crank and h beam rods, Probe pistons (12.75 CR), Jesel rockers, Victor 7721 heads (ports by Duane), Bullet cam (276/283 109/107 .750/.725), Victor 2828 intake (ported by Duane). With a Victor 2924 intake, it made 760hp @7300 605ft lb@6000. I sent it back to Duane for some upgrades (2828 intake) and GZ vacuum pump, and he did not dyno it again. Motor has about 500 street miles on it. It has 2” Accufab headers, a Pro-systems dominator carburetor, MSD power grid 7, grid 7730 controller and HVC coil, MSD pro-billet distributor, Snow water/meth system, Meziere electric water pump.
The transmission was built by CK performance. It is a TH-400 with a JW ultrabell, and transbrake. CK also did the convertor.
The rear end was built by Strange. 4:30 gears in one of their 12 bolt drop outs that fit in a 9” housing, and explorer disc brakes.
The car was stripped bare and completely restored. A mini-tub was installed by using 67 outer wheel wells and adding some additional material to the inner wheel well. The rear suspension is Caltracs, with a Flexi-form single leaf, and Strange DA adjustable shocks. The shock towers were shaved to provide more room for the large heads and headers. The front suspension uses QA1 coil over shocks, roller adjustable strut rods (makes alignments really simple, no more wedges), roller lower control arms, TCP upper control arms, new steering box, and CSRP disc brakes. The deck lid, front valence, and hood are glass. Gauges are mostly autometer, Legacy GPS speedometer, FAST AFR monitor. Full interior (had to modify the rear slightly to fit the mini-tub), standard black with aftermarket bucket seats up front, 5 point harnesses in the front, shoulder belts in rear.
$20,000 or best offer, looking to sell it.
