1966 Ford Mustang Coupe
Coupe Car for sale in Clemmons, North Carolina 27012
Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.
Classic Car Overview
This classic Mustang is a frame-off restoration with every nut and bolt replaced. The body was sand blasted, primer coated, completely glazed, block-sanded, a second primer coating, block-sanded and painted with brandy wine base coat and several coats of clear. The clear coat was sanded with 1000 grit, then 1500 grit then 2000 grit sand paper, then buffed and polished. This body and paint is show quality. “Everything” on this car is new. Guaranteed you won’t find a nicer Gen 1 Mustang. This is a very high-quality build with over $60K invested in this build. I have pictures and receipts to document the process and the cost.
