Classic Car Overview

1966 Ford Mustang $35,999

Pittsburgh, PA
Once Ford introduced the Mustang, their sales went up tremendously, and in 1966 whenever that model of Mustang was introduced, the sales success did nothing but increase. The 1966 Mustang Convertible was only restyled slightly whenever introduced in 1966. The only things restyled was that the Mustang emblem was placed directly in the center of the grille opposed to the previous placement in earlier models. The other slight modification was that the rear fender featured three chrome pieces that would lead into the simulated side scoop. 1966 was the first year that federally mandated safety. Due to this, Mustang had front and back seat belts factory installed to meet this quota. Some other standard factory equipment were the electric windshield wipers, windshield washers, emergency flashers, bucket seats, carpet, heater, and defrosters, etc.. Just to get a basic idea of the quality of this model of Mustang. This particular Mustang has a power top, power breaks, and a Four Speed Manual transmission. A Bright Orange paint makes up the exterior of this vehicle, with a Black soft top cover, and the interior is black as well. This Mustang has been fully restored some years back, and still runs with the same amount of power Mustang was credited with back in the 1960 s. For a total of $35,999, you could own this piece of muscle car history, and enjoy the style, power, and quality that Mustang aimed to give their customers in 1966.
