Classic Car Overview

Meet Hank. This 1966 Ford f100 is a gem of a pickup truck. Its got a 302 V8 engine that runs like a dream. It has no rust to speak of, which is almost impossible to find. Its a half ton steel body with long bed, which is awesome since most trucks these days have tiny beds. This truck has been my baby, and my daily driver, for eight years. Ive done regular oil changes and tuneups, and Ive kept all the paperwork since Ive had it. It has an automatic transmission, Twin I-Beam suspension, disc brakes in front, drum in back. It also has some fun features including a modern sound system with BT capabilities, flaps in the footwells for better air flow in summer, a very effective heating/defrost system, the original classic Oregon plates, and a cool floor-mounted high beam switch. I absolutely love this truck and will be super sad to see it go. Im selling for two reasons, 1) Im not a mechanic, and 2) I bought another vehicle recently that I can take up into the mountains and camp in. Thats it. As far as I know, everything is in good working order. There is, of course, some wear and tear because this is an old truck. I can see someone souping it up and painting it, but Ive always loved the patina myself. Ive included photos of window seals that need replacing, a tear in the bench seat, and it needs new tires. Theres also a scratch in the paint from where someone sideswiped me recently without leaving a note. No dent thankfully, just superficial. Ive taken those things into consideration in the pricing. But all-in-all, this guy is in great shape. They just dont make em like this anymore. Im happy to consider offers, but please dont lowball me. Also, Im no gear head. Everything I know about it is in this post, so Im not someone to talk shop. But Ill answer any questions or find answers if I dont know them. Serious interest only please.
