The Chevy Impala has endured for generations, proving that value, luxury and performance are not mutually exclusive.

This fourth generation 1966 Impala Sport Coupe features a correct 327 cubic inch small block engine and Powerglide transmission as well as power assisted front disc brakes, power steering and air conditioning. It was restored by the previous owner approximately twenty years ago and became a fixture at cars shows around the Dallas area. The current owner purchased it from the estate of that previous owner in 2015.

The car has been maintained and garaged throughout including recent service to make ready for sale. A tidy engine bay presents nicely. Edelbrock intake and Flowmaster exhaust are the extent of aftermarket touches. This classic Impala starts easy, idles steady and runs cool in the triple digit Texas heat. It rolls straight down the road with plenty of V8 power fronting the smooth shifting automatic transmission. Steers and stops predictably.

The interior is near immaculate and a pleasant place to enjoy a cruise. The dash pad, package shelf, door cards, headliner, carpet and seating surfaces all present as new. The trunk has been fully trimmed as well. All of the lights and instrumentation are in proper working order with the exception of the clock, which like this classic Chevy is frozen in time. AC blows cold and a vintage sound radio is installed. This is a full size car with ample room for adults to join the fun in the back seat.

The pillarless coupe gives this Impala an element of elegance lost in subsequent generations. The exterior finish is uniform and shiny throughout with a few imperfections expected on a 20 year old paint job. The bright work is a mix of original and restored. The polished and staggered 18" REV wheels give the car a muscular stance. This car has great presence.
