I built this El Camino for me and never to sell it. I've had it since 2017. There are no rust or any body filler areas that I have found. I cut and buffed every inch of the paint. It stays in the garage when sleeping and I don't wash it with soap and water. I use a California Dust Buster and spray wax detailer only. I repainted areas that needed to refresh the paint: the entire rear bed, both door jams, hood and 1 fender. All the paint is in really good shape. The car starts up with one touch of the ignition key. Runs fantastic, tons of power (see my 2 videos on YouTube). https://youtu.be/VFVw_TX3wjM https://youtu.be/JGz7ZteQzDY

It handles like a dream and stops just as well. I have installed and made many custom items you can't buy from anywhere. I've had people ask me where I bought the Bed Kit. I made it. Other examples: interior rivet buttons, front grill and running lights. Under the Hood, notice almost all the wiring is covered or buried behind metal covers I made. The fire wall has several sheet metal pieces to make it look like factory clean and neat. I covered the battery and I made a cover over the horn relay and wires. I pounded a half inch wrench in the cover. Many a person has tried to pick up that wrench they thought was left there. Alot of the 60's Chevys that I like have some of the same style characteristics, this car very is unique. The bolt on decorative parts don't work for me either. I worked building on this car for the 14 months of covid outbreak and that's where the Painkiller came in, it truly was a Painkiller.

So why sell it? I bought a 1964 Chevy Nova II project car. After 2 years of building it, I ended up liking it better. There is room in my garage for the El Camino and my 2008 corvette. The Novas outside and I don't like it outside in the weather. Make me an offer on this fine automobile.
