Classic Car Overview

INTRODUCTION: The exceptional fit and finish on this El Camino is sure to impress, thats why its wearing a tuxedo: tuxedo black! Its going to be a pleasure to drive too with that 396, power steering and power disc brakes. EXTERIOR: Its a real black beauty! It just presents itself very nicely with its clean body, high gloss paint, and sparkling chrome. The long panels are straight with no rust or damage showing. The tuxedo black is polished to a very high gloss, smooth finish. Even the jambs are glossy and have new weatherstrips. Upfront the grille, bumper, and hood ornament have been replaced. The stainless trim around the windows, gutters, bed opening, and wheel wells have been replaced. The door handles, bow tie mirror and in back the emblems, bumper, and tail lights were all replaced. The rally wheels are 15x7s in front and 15x8s in back, and they are wearing shiny trim and BFG tires. INTERIOR: It has a very tidy interior, not to mention sporty with a set of bucket seats and center console! In front of me is a mint dash pad, all the chrome bezels have been replaced, the heater control panel looks new and it has a new reproduction steering wheel on a tilt column. That original AM/FM radio actually has modern internals including Bluetooth. New dual speakers are in the dash and wires are run behind the seats if you want to easily add speakers. The center console has a working clock, the seats are nice and firm, the seat backs are excellent. The carpet is fresh and has reproduction mats. Behind the passenger seat is a new spare tire and rally wheel with a new complete jack assembly. The headliner, visors and mirror look like new too. Even the fuse block was replaced. Not only is most of it new, it also fits right giving you the feeling your sitting in a new 1966 El Camino. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Yup, that is a big block 396 engine sitting there! It has the rectangular port heads and an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake. It also has reproduction chrome valve covers and air cleaner. It is even detailed with reproduction GM hoses and clamps, Delco battery topper and spring clamp cables. The components look new like the fuel pump, pulleys, alternator, and clutch fan. The power steering pump was replaced and it has the correct remote reservoir. It also has a new and upgraded power brake system with a dual master cylinder. It is very complete: the squirters are hooked up and it has the glass bottle of concentrate fluid. Overall, a very nice appearance! TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed is rock solid, clean metal all painted gloss black. The tailgate opens and closes properly and has chrome hinges. UNDERSIDE: Not sure how long it lived in California but it sure has dry, clean metal under here. The floors, braces and inner rockers look to be original and in excellent shape. The steering and suspension has been rebuilt as needed. We replaced the idler arm, the front springs and shocks appear to be recent and it is upgraded with polyurethane swaybar bushings. The dual exhaust has been replaced and has factory type mufflers. The brakes have been redone and were upgraded with discs in front and the e-brake is hooked up. The fuel tank was recently replaced too. Looking up at the motor it is clean, you can see fresh freeze plugs and it is upgraded with a high torque starter. Upgraded Turbo 350 automatic transmission, the driveshaft has fresh u-joints and connects to a 10 bolt rear end. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell. CONCLUSION: This is an attractive ElCamino with some muscle and it is in impressive condition. You CAN have a really good one without breaking the bank! Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Power steering Power disc brakes Bucket seats Console Tilt wheel Am-Fm Bluetooth Reproduction mats Rally wheels
