1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was completely rebuilt from 2015-2016 that totaled ~$40k, the majority of which was completed by Clay Phillips of Performance Paint & Chassis, Inc. and Jamey Garbe of A.I.D. Autoworks in Missouri. The car is powered by a rebuilt 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is refinished in silver over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a black Stayfast soft top, 15 Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, an ignition cut-off switch, KYB shocks, an aftermarket stereo, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. This C2 was acquired by the seller in 2016 and is now offered with the owners manual, refurbishment and service records. Exterior equipment includes flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, Soft Ray tinted glass, a driver-side mirror, and a retractable antenna.

Outfitted with: 205/75 redline radial tires, KYB shocks and power steering. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the calipers, brakes lines, and hoses have been replaced. The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl, and refurbishment work involved replacing the dashboard, door panels, seatbacks, and carpets. Amenities include a retro-look stereo with Bluetooth connectivity and aftermarket speakers as well as a removable center console cupholder, a heater, an analog clock, and lap belts. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a refurbished suite of instrumentation, and the dash panels and gauge lenses were replaced. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. An ignition cut-off switch is equipped. The 327ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque and was rebuilt in 2016. Additional work involved rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the electronic ignition, alternator, wiring harness, and fan assembly.

Issues with the car: Paint chips and nicks are noted on the front as this car has been a driver with 5000 miles since the rebuild. A protective film was applied to the rear deck to protect the paint from the black soft top convertible. This is the color differentiation between the lid and the body. The right door panel had a nick and door dings and the silver color is slightly off (again, i have used the car as a driver for 11 years). Small paint scratches are noted on the center console.
