The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview

1966 Chevy CORVETTE Convertible This is a Virginia car and was owned for 39 years since 1981 and purchased by him from the original owner at that time so, it is a 2 owner very original unmolested car! It is a rust free original frame of course! He was a big car collector and never drove any of his many cars and had a guy take care of all of them. It has since been gone through completely from top to bottom and driven about 200 miles in the past year so it is ready to enjoy! Everything works like reverse lights, ebrake, headlights, blinkers, gauges, etc. Very original car with one repaint of its original rare color of mosport green code 982 and std code standard black interior and yes, an actual 41,400 original miles and the motor has never been out of the car! This is a desirable original 327/350 hp car and is the original engine and ABSOLUTELY not a restamp but the original BORN WITH ENGINE! The interior is 100% original untouched along with most of the rest of the car! The drivers seat has a small seem tear and I was going to have it stitched but decided that original is better and left it alone! The glass is very nice and the top is about 10 years old (looks new) and was replaced with the much more expensive cloth top which looks so much better! The knockoffs were placed on the car about 30 years ago and are reproductions. I am not sure if it is an original side pipe car but I would venture to say it is. The body lines are very nice, as you would expect, it runs and drives very nicely with no hiccups, shifts through the gears effortlessly and rides like you would expect an original NOT butchered up car would ride. The numbers on the block are pictured clearly and this engine has never been removed from this car and runs smoothly with no smoke or noises! The telescoping steering wheel appears frozen, as I cant move it, and dont want to break the steering wheel so that will need addressing but its fine like it is to drive kind of like it didnt have it.
