The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview

This is a 1966 Corvette that I personally worked on and upgraded. You can see some of this work on my project journal at https://www.hotrodders.com/forum/journal.php?journalid=18535&action=view I am only selling this because I inherited a house in Colorado and I need some cash to get it ready to sell in spring. The car drives excellent and does not overheat even in Los Angeles during the summer. It's always been a garage car and I only drove it every few weeks to work on Friday and to the beach on a few weekends during summer. I love this car and obviously it's an attention grabber anywhere it goes. I have probably put $25,000 + in parts alone into this car and that does not include all the labor.  All of the floors are solid and I am including pics of areas of the car in a disassembled state so you can really see what you get! Obviously the engine is not original as it's a 350 so it's priced as a resto-mod. I had to do a lot to get this car the way I wanted it and it's a damn good deal. You could drive this car from LA to NY with no problems. The wiring is excellent with no issues. All the gauges including the original clock work. My builds reflect my obsessive compulsive disorder and I pay attention to detail. The car is not perfect and the paint looks good from 10 feet away but I wanted to repaint it but that is just me though as I know every little paint imperfection many don't even notice. Things it needs. A new emergency brake cable from the front to the mid-connection X as it is stretched beyond adjusting point. The windshield is old. The chrome around the window should be polished. The backup lights do not come on when you put it in reverse, the switch for it is missing on the trans. There is no spare tire in the rear under-compartment. The car also comes with a new rear valance as I was going to put side exhaust on and it has no holes in it. It also comes with a new in box factory appearance correct electronic Tach that is not installed, currently it has the mechanical one going to the MSD ignition and it works fine.

Things I have done over last 4 1/2 years:

New Power Steering Rack

New Master Cylinder and Power brake booster (2019)

New Canvas top (2019)

New 4 piston calipers and rotors (2019)

New brake lines (2015)

New Recovery Tank (2019)

All new hoses and clamps (2019)

New u-joints on half-shafts (2017)

New Glove Box door (2019)

New Glove Box (2019)

New rear composite mono spring (2018)

New rear differential seals and bearings (2017)

If you have any questions just ask. I have a clean California title in my possession, I own this car and there are no liens on it. If there is something you need a pic of I have 1,000 ! If you want to come look at it I am in the LA area. If you want me to have it inspected for you that is not a problem but you have to pay for it and keep the location close to where I live. All transportation is the buyers responsibility.
