The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview

Up for sale is my 1966 Corvette 327/300 all original. This car has the original engine, original transmission, original rear differential, original factory red. Recent $20,000+ restoration.

This is the most well documented 1966 Corvette you'll find. I have receipts dating back to the early 70's. I have all the original paperwork and the protecto-plate. I probably have 50 pages of receipts, title paperwork, owner transfers, etc. dating back to the 70's. It's all organized and in order. The clutch was just replaced with an OEM clutch. It shifts perfectly.

This Corvette literally checks every single box you'd want in a C2 Corvette.
- Original protecto-plate
- Power steering
- Teak wood steering wheel
- Power brakes with dual power cylinder
- Side pipes
- Red-line tires
- #'s matching with original engine, transmission and rear differential. Original engine parts: Carb, radiator, etc.
- All gauges work - including the clock!
- New top
- 4 speed

NO RUST! This car has never been hit. I have a lift at my house. I can put it on the lift and show you the frame, body panels, etc. It's a no hit frame.

I bought this car a few years ago. Since I've owned it I've added the side pipes, new tires, power brakes, teak wood steering wheel, $20,000 in recent mechanical and cosmetic restorations with all receipts. The car was great when I bought it, but I wanted it to be as close to perfect as possible - without being a trailer queen. The paint is a 9/10. I haven't done anything with the paint just yet. It has the usual rock chips, but not many. I don't want the paint to be perfect because then I wouldn't want to drive it.

This is the best driving C2 I've driven. It shifts great, rides smooth and sounds awesome. You will not be disappointed. The documentation is a site to see.

Clean title and title is in hand.
